Patricia Ann Shafer's Obituary
Hersey - Patricia Ann Shafer, 80, of Hersey, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018, at Altercare of Big Rapids.
Pat was born September 9, 1937 in Evart, the daughter of Harrison and Pat "Ella" (McCarn) Chipman. She loved her dogs, gardening, sewing, making dolls, reading, and Bingo.
She is survived by her children, Daniel (Anne) Decator, Beth (Randy) Stotler, and Aaron Decator; sister Marsha (Larry) Warren; brother Kenton (June) Chipman; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Pat was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 2011; her parents; daughter Cristy Heid; son-in-law Jerry Heid; and brother Ronald (Rose) Chipman.
Thank you to the staff at Altercare for taking good care of Pat the last several years.
A memorial service for Patricia will be held at 1:00 p.m., August 19, 2018 at the Hersey Mosaic Park.
