Paul Edward Koroly's Obituary
Big Rapids - Paul Edward Koroly, 90, of Big Rapids, formerly of Lexington Hts, MI, passed away peacefully on July 14th, 2020.
He was born September 26, 1929 in , Harrisburg, PA, the son of Joseph and Pauline (Stachurski) Koroly.
Paul was an excellent photographer, often developing his film in his own dark room. He also enjoyed his model trains, and working puzzles.
On May 13, 1950 he married Audrey Pelchat, who preceded him in death in 2010.
He is survived by 5 children, Ralph Koroly of Memphis, TN, Elaine (Jim) Konopka of Riverview, MI, Phyllis (Dan) Grit of Big Rapids, Dawna (Mike) Heitjan of Ontonagon, MI, and Lois (Cam) MacNiel of Saline, MI; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Paul was also preceded in death by his daughter Barbara Koroly, and his grandson Chris.
A Celebration of Paul's life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to Cran Hill Ranch. Care and arrangements are entrusted to the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids. Share a memory or express condolences at mohnkefuneralhome.com.
