Paul George Lipar's Obituary
Remus - Paul Lipar passed away peacefully May 7, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a life defined by hard work, loyalty, and love for those closest to him.
Paul was born June 3, 1948 to George and Dorothy Lipar.
Paul was happiest outdoors, tending to his vegetable garden, maintaining his property, fishing, and spending time at hunting camp with family and lifelong hunting buddies. He especially cherished hunting trips with his cousin Jack, who was like a son to him, as well as trips to Texas spent hunting with his brothers and extended family.
Paul worked in piping engineering, a career that reflected his strong work ethic and practical nature. He was especially proud of his granddaughter, Aislinn, and loved watching her play softball over the years. He could not have been prouder when she earned a scholarship to the University of Michigan to study Mechanical Engineering, following a path in engineering he understood and respected so well.
He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis; son, Jason Lipar; daughter, Jackie Lipar; granddaughter, Aislinn; brother, Tom Lipar (Melanie); sister, Deb Mako (Vince); and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Dorothy Lipar; brother, Bill Lipar; mother-in-law, Miriam Hopkins; and father-in-law, Harold Hopkins.
