Pauline (Klumpp) Bouwman's Obituary
Pauline L. (Klumpp) Bouwman, age 86, of Stanwood, MI passed away unexpectedly May 31st, 2017. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 6th, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Remus, at 11:00 AM with Fr. Michael Burt as Celebrant. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Janowicz Family Funeral Home in Remus, and again on Tuesday at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in St. Henry Catholic Cemetery in Rosebush on Wednesday morning.
Pauline was born February 15, 1931, along with her twin brother, Paul, the daughter of Charles and Ede (Watson) Sniff. Pauline was a very selfless person, always thinking of others and willing to help whenever she could. A very hospitable person, she always had guests at her house and food made for everyone. Giving, feisty, and “no filter” were all words used to describe Pauline. She had a heart of gold, but you always knew exactly where you stood with her. She enjoyed playing cards, watching the Detroit Tigers, going places, meeting new people and happy hour with her Kesslers.
Pauline will be greatly missed by her Son; Mark Klumpp; Daughters, Dondi Jean (Rob) Gaskill and Connie MacKenzie; Step-Daughters, Judy Klumpp-Johnson and Teri Klumpp; Grandchildren, Cheryl Gaskill, Lionel (Cyndi) MacKenzie, Angie (Mark) Veldman and Andrea (Lorenzo) Gonzalez,;10 Great-Grandchildren; Special Niece, Jan Gabier and her 4-legged grandchildren Ty & Callie.
Sadly, she was preceded in death by her parents; Husbands, Patrick Lynch, Russ Klumpp and Donald Bouwman; Brothers, Archie, R.J. and Leslie, and Sisters, Barbara, Fayevella and Zola.
Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to God’s Helping Hands, or to MOISD Education Center Playground. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and church.
