Peggy Jean Wheeler's Obituary
Peggy Jean Wheeler, of Stanton, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the age of 53. She was born on February 11, 1972, in Sheridan, MI, the daughter of David and Sheila (Van Horn) Linderman.Peggy grew up in the Fenwick area and spent most of her life around Greenville and Stanton. She was known for her strong will, hard work, and outgoing personality. Peggy never met a stranger-she was social, outspoken, and full of life. In high school, she was remembered as "the coolest chick," someone who brought energy and laughter wherever she went.She was deeply proud of her work and her connection with the VA, and she had a special love for animals of all kinds. Peggy lived life on her own terms, standing up for what she believed in and caring deeply for those she loved.She is survived by her daughter, Emily (Jordan) Ginebaugh; her son, Kevin (Ashley) Gardineer; brothers, Jason (Christa) Linderman and Josh (Kim) Linderman; and two cherished grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.Peggy will be remembered for her strength, spirit, and the light she brought to those around her. Her laughter and love will be dearly missed.A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Stanton American Leigon Hall. Care and arrangements are entrusted to Janowicz Family Funeral Home - Lakeview.
