Penny Sue Webbley's Obituary
Barryton - Penny Sue Webbley, 56, of Barryton, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019.
She was born November 17, 1962, in Pontiac, MI, the daughter of Orval and Caroline (Burnell) Sowels. Penny Sue had lived in the Big Rapids area most of her life, graduating from Chippewa Hills High School in 1981.
Penny Sue was very active in her church and loved to crochet and bake.
Penny Sue was loved by family and friends. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Kenneth and Charity Webbley of Grand Rapids; 1 sister, Terry Kern of Florida; 1 brother, Gary (Brenda) Sowels of Texas; sister-in-law Christine Conley-Sowels of Mecosta; her best friend Judy Ann Brickman; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Larry, Jerry, Sherry, and Kary "Butch".
A Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Barryton Free Methodist Church, 4395 20 Mile Rd., Barryton, MI 49305, with Pastor Darwin Mowat officiating. Burial will follow at Flake Cemetery in Barryton. Penny Sue's family will greet friends from 11 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for help with final expenses.
