Phillip F. Gibbons Sr.'s Obituary
Phillip F. Gibbons, Sr., age 75, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015 at his home with family at his side. Phillip was born the son of Stanley and Violet (Jensen) Gibbons on June 28, 1939 in Edmore, Michigan. Phillip was united in marriage to the former Rosemary Tilden on July 4, 1996 in Stanton, Michigan.
Phillip worked for Gibson's Appliance Corp. which later was changed names to Electrolux Home Products from which he retired from after 47 years. He enjoyed watching war movies and westerns, fishing, deer hunting with his boys and going to the casino.
Phillip is survived by his loving wife Rosemary, 4 sons; Stanley Gibbons of Greenville, Phillip (Jennipher) Gibbons Jr. of McBride, Tracy Gibbons of Edmore and Jody (Angel) Gibbons of Stanton, 6 step-children; Sherry Reynolds of Greenville, twins Annette (Jim) Pelon of Mt. Pleasant and Jannett (Ernie) Wymer of Edmore, Kevin Dunbar of Stanton, Roberta (Buddy) Reed of Entrican and Rose (John) Hoard of Crystal and a grandson that was raised as their own, Mark Reynolds of Stanton, 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters; Jeanette Shine of Boston, MA and Lillian (Johnny) Christofferson of Sidney and a brother; Ronald and his spouse Gibbons of Edmore. Phillip was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore. Interment will follow at McBride Cemetery. Visitation will take place Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
