Polly Jo Kinnee's Obituary
Polly Jo Kinnee of Lakeview, Michigan passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on October 14, 1950, in Lakeview, Polly lived a life full of warmth, laughter, and deep love for her family. She graduated from Morley Stanwood High School in 1968, and from Davenport College in 1998 with high honors for a bachelor's degree.Polly had a spark that could light up any room and a heart big enough to hold everyone in it. She was fiercely loyal, endlessly generous, and always ready with a witty remark or a listening ear. Whether she was sharing stories, offering advice, or just sitting quietly with someone who needed her-Polly made people feel seen and valued.She is survived by her beloved grandson, Joshua Kinnee, and her cherished siblings: Timothy Kinnee (Mary Kinnee, deceased), Bill Beemer (Helen Beemer, deceased), Peggy Beemer-Davenport, Tom Beemer, Andrew Beemer (Tim Campbell), Harriette Beemer-Leiby (Troy Leiby), Robert Beemer (Glen Minton), and Penny Turner-Lindsey (Sue Meyers). She also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who brought her endless joy.Polly is reunited in peace with her dear son, Zachary Kinnee; her parents, William Kinnee and Maurine "Micki" Turner and brother, Rick Beemer; as well as many loved ones gone before her. While her absence leaves an ache in our hearts, we are grateful for the many memories she gave us-each one a reminder of her strength, humor, and unwavering love.A memorial service to celebrate Polly's life will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery in Lakeview, Michigan. All are welcome to come share stories and honor the remarkable woman she was. Luncheon to follow at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Lakeview, Michigan.Polly Jo Kinnee will be dearly missed-and fondly remembered every time we laugh a little louder, love a little deeper, and live a little more freely, just as she did.
