Ralph Charles Chesebro's Obituary
Fife Lake - Ralph Charles Chesebro, 78, of Fife Lake, formerly of Morley, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at his residence with the love of his family surrounding him.
He was born February 29, 1944, near Morley, the son of Lyle and Nellie (Croff) Chesebro, and graduated from Morley High School in 1962. In 1965, Ralph married Sandra Lynn Voss, and they lived in Morley until moving to Fife Lake.
Ralph worked as an operator for the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad for 10 years. A heavy equipment by trade, he was a member of the Operators Union Local #324, retiring after 31 years.
His wife Sandra preceded Ralph on August 31, 2019. He is survived by 2 sons, Ralph Chesebro, Jr., of Big Rapids, and Rodney Chesebro of Fife Lake; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren (with one more on the way); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ralph was also preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Rhonda Pieciak, and his brother Butch.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Sunday, June 12, 2022, at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids, with Bill Routley officiating. Burial will follow in the Aetna Cemetery in Morley. Ralphs family will greet friends at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to Munson Hospice.
