Ralph Cousineau's Obituary
Bitely - Ralph J. Cousineau, 90, of Bitely, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2016, at his residence.He was born December 8, 1925, in Newaygo County's Home Township, the son of George and Hilda (Windquist) Cousineau, and attended Big Jackson School. During World War II, Ralph served with the U.S. Navy.Following his discharge Ralph returned to the area, and was a lifelong farmer. On May 31, 1946, he married Florence Mitchell, who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Ann Counts of Hawkins; one son, Tom (Colleen) of Bitely; six grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; his sister Agnes Hornsby, and sister-in-law Helen Cousineau, both of Bitely; and several nieces and nephews. Ralph was preceded in death by a son Mike, his brothers Raymond, Leonard, and George, and his sister Alice.Private family services and interment will take place at the Whipple Cemetery in Home Township.
