Ralph Edward Mier's Obituary
age 49, of Lakeview passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015, unexpectedly.
Ralph was born November 24, 1965 to Bruce and Bonnie Mier of Vestaburg. He attended Vestaburg High School, worked at Quad Graphics in Greenville, and was a long time resident of Lakeview.
Ralph was an avid outdoorsman, and loved fishing and boating. He enjoyed working in the yard, and playing with his grandchildren. He was a hard worker, and was always there to lend a helping hand to friends and family.
Ralph met his soul mate Sheila O'Brien Mier in 1991. They welcomed their son Jordan Edward in 1994. The love continued with granddaughter Oakley Annabelle in 2013, and grandson Keegan Alexander in 2014.
Ralph was preceded in death by his father Bruce Mier Sr, stepmom Mary Lou, brothers Raymond and Bruce Mier Jr, and sister Carmella Voorheis.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife Sheila Mier, mother Bonnie Mier, son Jordan (AmandaJo), granddaughter Oakley, grandson Keegan, his brother Randy Mier, and two sisters Carol Ann Jack and Charlene Turner. He also leaves behind many brother and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Ralph's life will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at the Brigham Funeral Chapel in Lakeview, MI with Pastor George Showers officiating. Family will be accepting friends at the funeral home an hour before the service. The family is requesting casual attire for the funeral services. A light luncheon will be held in the banquet room following the service.
