Ralph Pendell's Obituary
Ralph Pendell was born on June 12, 1931 in Edmore, MI and passed away unexpectedly on March 12, 2017 at his home in Blanchard, MI. He was united in marriage to the former Patricia Francis in 1977 in West Virginia. Ralph worked at Dow Chemical as a Pipe Fitter and Foreman for 35 years, retiring in 1984. He loved fishing, his pets, his John Deere tractor, deer hunting with his family, and dancing. For the past 11 years Ralph also enjoyed spending time volunteering at the commission on aging.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Patricia, 3 children, Duane (Diane) Pendell, Nona Sellers, Dave (Linda) Pendell, 2 brothers, Randy (Doris) Pendell, Richard (Crystal) Pendell, 1 sister, Anita Pendell, and sister-in-law Janet Pendell. He had 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Beatrice (Hunt) Pendell, his brother Royal Pendell and brother-in-law and sister Leroy & Roberta Moore and son-in-law George Jones. Services will be held at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore, MI on Wednesday, March 15th at 4:00 PM. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday from 2:00 PM until the time of service.
