Ranae Sue Hansen's Obituary
Edmore- Ranae Sue Hansen, age 66, of Stanton passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at her home. Ranae was born in Edmore, on July 31, 1956, to Merton and Elnora (Nisonger) Hansen. She was raised in the McBride area and attended school at Montabella, graduating with the Class of 1974. Ranae was employed at the Hansen Sawmill for 30 plus years and later at the Edmore IGA for 5 years. She loved to cook meals and especially bake. Ranae was known for taking chances on lottery tickets. More than anything else she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her two granddaughters and special friend, Emily and her kids.Ranae will be dearly missed by her son, Andrew (Cimarron) Munger of Stanton; grandchildren, Baylee and Ivee; stepson, Thomas Munger and his children of Edmore; two sisters, Linda and Lorena; and three brothers, Gary, Merlin, and David.Ranae is preceded in death by her parents, Merton and Elnora Hansen; and former husband, Mike Munger.A celebration of Ranae's life will take place from 12:00-3:00 PM on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at the Stanton American Legion Hall.Memorial contributions can be made to Andrew Munger.
