Raymond L. Cousineau's Obituary
Bitely-Raymond L. Cousineau, 87, of Bitely went to be with his Lord on November 6, 2010. He was born August 23, 1923 in Home Township on the family farm, the son of George and Hulda (Windquist) Cousineau. Ray is survived by one daughter, Ellen (Jerry) Curtis of Bitely and one son, Randy (Pricilla Kay) Cousineau of Newaygo, two grandchildren; Sarah (Scott) McBean of Middleville and Jerry Ray William (Vickie) Curtis of Springdale, Arkansas, two greatgrandchildren, Kyle Stewart McBean and Alexis Faith McBean. Also, surviving is a brother, Ralph (Florence) Cousineau of Bitely, two sisters; Alice Chapman of White Cloud, Agnes Hornsby of Bitely, two sisters-in-law; Marian Cousineau of Paris and Helen Cousineau of Bitely, plus many nieces and nephews. Ray was preceded in death in 1996 by his wife of 50 years, Maxine and three brothers, Roy in 1931, Leonard in 2007 and George in 2009. He farmed his entire life and retired after 21 years as a boiler operator at Ferris State University. Ray was a long time member of the Big Jackson Church of God. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at the Big Jackson Church of God with Pastor Ryan Shrable and Pastor Ross "Lucky" Fulton officiating. Rays family will greet friends on Monday, November 8th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m,. at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids. Memorial contributions may be made in Raymonds honor to Hospice of Michigan.
