Rhonald John Pierce, age 98, passed away on November 8, 2024, at his son's home in Grand Ledge, Michigan.Ron was born on August 26, 1926, in Sturgis Michigan to his parents Ammi and Edna Pierce. He was raised in Mio, Michigan, where he also attended school. Ron worked for Granger Construction in Lansing for 27 years as a brick layer and iron worker. On September 23, 1972, Rhon married the love of his life, Mary Cathrine Krawczyk, with whom he shared 51 years. Ron enjoyed spending his time fishing and collecting rocks.Ron will be missed by his children, Blain (Deborah) Pierce, Kathie (Bill) Ross and Robin Pierce; stepchildren, Kay (Doug) Hulbert, John (Dori) Minnard, Erick (Tracie) Minnard; sister, Juanita (Richard) Retzloff; brother, Audley (Kay) Pierce and many grandchildren and great-grandchildrenHe is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Cathrine; parents, Ammi and Edna; sisters, Jewel (Cecil) Buck, Ramona Snively; son, Ricci Pierce.No services are scheduled at this time.
