Ricca Marie Peterson's Obituary
Edmore- Ricca Marie Peterson, age 35, of Edmore, Michigan passed away Sunday October 9, 2022, at Midland hospital surrounded by her family. Ricca was born on August 28, 1987, in Greenville Michigan, the daughter of Earl Moore and Loree Merritt. She was raised in Blanchard, graduated from Montabella High School with the class of 2005, and continued her education at Mid-Michigan Community College. On October 10, 2009, Ricca married David Peterson and together they had three children. Her children Emma, Davis, and Eleana were her pride and joy. Ricca worked many years as a waitress for Maxfield's and later LaClear's restaurants. She enjoyed camping, vacations, traveling, sewing, and arts and crafts as well. Most importantly Ricca loved her family and kids. Ricca will be missed by her husband David; three children Emma, Davis, and Eleana all of Edmore; her mother Loree of Edmore; father-in-law Bradley (Debi) Peterson of Edmore; mother-in-law Kimberly Kane of Vestaburg; step father Wendell Moody of Blanchard; her siblings Jason (Jamie) Moore of Edmore, Ryan Moore of Blanchard, and Jennifer (John) Berryhill of Blanchard; grandparents Dale and Carolyn Kane of Vestaburg; a sister-in-law; three brothers-in-law; several nieces and nephews; and everyone who called her friend. Ricca was preceded in death by her father, Earl Moore. Funeral services for Ricca will take place at 11:00 A. M. on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at the Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore with Pastor Tom Olrich officiating. The family will receive family and friends on Friday, October 14, 2022, from 5:00-7:00 P. M. at the funeral chapel.
