Richard Allen Daniels' Obituary
Edmore- Richard Allen Daniels, age 51, of Six Lakes, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 4, 2019. Rich was born July 4, 1967, the son of Jerry and Sharon Daniels. He was raised in Grand Rapids, went Union High School, and was accepted to attend the University of Michigan. On November 8, 2014 Rich married the love of his life Kimberly O'Hara in Six Lakes, at the Church of the Gentle Shepherd. He was a truck driver most of his life, and recently was employed by West Pharmaceuticals. Rich loved to read and educate himself growing as a person. He loved fishing, camping and especially spending time with family. At 14 years old he began training until he became a 6th degree black belt. He also was a life leadership member and in the American Legion Grand Rapids Post # 0225.
Richard will be missed by his wife of nearly five years, Kim Daniels of Six Lakes; daughters Jolynn Daniels, Brooke Daniels, Miranda Crittenden, Shanda Daniels, Madelyn Crittenden, and Shyann Daniels all of Six Lakes; his son, Joseph Taylor Jr. of Grand Rapids; grandchildren Keylee, Carlisle, Kaleb, and Kalina; one brother Russell (Cindy) Daniels of Oklahoma.
Rich was preceded in death by his parents Jerry and Sharon Daniels; one brother Robert Daniels and two nephews.
A celebration of Rich's life will be at the Church of the Gentle Shepherd on Saturday, May 18, 2019 beginning at 1:00 PM. The family will greet friends from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
