Richard Dale Myers' Obituary
Lifelong resident of Big Rapids area, Richard "Dick" Myers, 76, passed away peacefully at home with his family on December 20, 2020.
Born to be an Excavator, Dick worked for his father's business, Myers Excavating, until creating his own "Dick's Dozing" in 1997. Working with his son, Scott, Dick helped shape and transform the land in Mecosta County making many people's dreams come true and touching the lives of many as a friend.
Dick is survived by his wife and friend since 2nd Grade, Linda Lou, his children Tim (Karen) Myers, Marcee (Todd) Purcell, Erik Myers, Scott Myers, and granddaughters, who held a special place in his heart, Kylee and Gretchen Purcell.
Rest in Peace, Dick, Dad and Gramps - you will be missed forever.
