Richard A. Smigelski's Obituary
Richard A. Smigelski age 69, of Edmore formerly of Detroit, MI died early Wednesday morning, December 02, 2015 at his home. Richard was born on February 25, 1946 in Detroit, MI the son of Casmer and Wanda (Targanski) Smigelski. Richard was a gifted artist; he especially enjoyed painting. Richard also enjoyed fishing and hunting. But mostly he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Richard is survived by his children; Gloria Ellrich of Redford, MI, Patrick (Viki) Smigelski of SC, Michael Smigelski of Edmore, MI and Dawn Smigelski of Ionia, MI, mother of his children; Mary Smigelski, nine grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, brother; Gerald and a son in-law; Thomas Ellrich.
Funeral Services for Richard will take place Saturday, December 05, 2015 at 4:00 PM from Brigham Funeral Chapel, 413 E. Gilson St., Edmore, MI 48829 with Reverend Ron Hansen to officiate. Visitation will also take place on Saturday from 2-4 PM. Those planning a memorial contribution are asked to consider the "Wishes of the Smigelski Family" C/O Mary Smigelski.
