We sadly announce the peaceful passing of Robert (Bob) Henderson Jr., born on December 12, 1961, who left this world on February 22, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Known for his funny, loving, and caring personality, Bob will be dearly missed.His life was filled with the joy of diverse hobbies, from gardening, fishing, and hunting to cherishing the moments spent with his family, especially his beloved wife and dogs. Bob was a devoted fan of the Michigan Wolverines, Nascar, and he never missed his grandboys' sporting events. On June 2,1986 Bob married Barb the love of his life and they enjoyed 40 years together.Bob is survived by his wife, Barb Henderson; his daughter, Amanda Griffin (Jared Holsworth), his son, Zachary Henderson (Brandon Clevenger); his grandsons, Keegan and Logan Griffin; his mother, Jolene Henderson; and his sister, Dana (Lonny) Rasmussen. Sister in laws, Mary (Doug) Merchant, Karen Rozen, and Cindi (Dave) Rattay and many nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by his daughter, Katie Henderson; his father, Robert Henderson Sr.; his mother-in-law, Betty Rozen; and his father-in-law, Joseph Rozen Jr.His furry kids, Betty and Lucy, who provided him companionship and countless happy moments, will dearly miss him.A Memorial service for Bob will be held on February 27, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Pine River Church of God with a luncheon to follow. All friends and family are welcome to join us as we honor and remember the life of this extraordinary man.As we mourn the loss of Bob, we also celebrate his life and the positive impact he had on those around him. He will forever be remembered for his kind nature, sense of humor, and his unwavering devotion to his family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses.
