Robert J. Hamilton's Obituary
Robert James Hamilton was born November 04, 1932 in Belfast, N. Ireland and passed away on March 30, 2017 at his home in Lakeview MI with his family by his side. He married his wife Eileen Thompson on March 04, 1957 in Belfast, N. Ireland.
Robert was employed at Chrysler Corporation and retired after 30 years. He enjoyed gardening, working with his hands, playing golf, was very involved with soccer. He was President of the Detroit Cougars Supporters Club, President of Chrysler Management Club; and he was Past Master of Harper Woods Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen Hamilton, 2 children, Robert Roy Hamilton (Nancy Huffman) and Deborah Ann Hamilton (Daniel Dangler); 3 Grandchildren, Colleen Michele Hamilton (Mark) Lafrineire, Jason Samuel (Hannah) Hamilton, and Cody Austin Dangler; 4 Great Grandchildren, Marley White, Paige Lafrinerie, Presley Lafrineire, McKenzie Hamilton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Hamilton and 4 sisters and 1 brother.
A memorial service will be held at a later date and time.
