Robert Henry Romine's Obituary
Paris - Robert Henry "Bob" Romine, 75, of Paris, passed away Monday, August 22, 2016, at Presence Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, following a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born June 18, 1941, in Big Rapids, the son of Henry and Beulah (Montague) Romine. Bob is survived by Sandra (Halladay), his wife of 39 years; 5 children, Sherri Reynolds, Scott (Tina) Lackney, Debra (Bobby) Marsh, Stacy (Lyn) Lackney, and Connie (David) Babbitt; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; his sister Barbara J. Waldron; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister and another sister Shirley Dennis, a stepson Steven Lackney, and a grandson Shawn Lackney. Bob drove truck for many years. Besides family, his passion was farming. He was an easy-going man who brought joy to all who knew him. He was greatly loved and will certainly be missed. A private family gathering will be held in Bob's memory. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to teh Susan Wheatlake Cancer Center in Reed City.
