Robert Michael Watson's Obituary
Robert "Bob" Michael Watson, age 45, of Lakeview, ran into the arms of his Savior, Friday, October 18, 2019 with his loving family by his side. Bob was born June 11, 1974 at Luampa Mission Hospital in Zambia, Africa to Michael and Margaret (Comden) Watson.
Through a lifelong struggle with Myotonic Dystrophy, Bob maintained a simple and profound faith. He loved Jesus. He recently told his mother "When I get to Heaven, I will have a perfect body!"
Bob never met a stranger. All who met him felt blessed. Bob was blessed with many loving and kind caregivers. The family wants to give a special thanks to Spectrum Health Hospice for their compassionate help during this difficult time.
He is survived by his mother Margaret Watson of Lakeview; Aunts and Uncles Mary Watson, Sandra Stein, Jo Ellen (Charles) Anderson, Ted (Joanna) Comden, Jim Comden, Belinda (William) Lutzke, Don (Randi) Comden, Jon (Diane) Comden, and adopted uncle and aunt Lonnie (Mary) Morden.
Bob is preceded in death by his father Michael Watson; grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
Bob was a member of Entrican Bible Church 3899 N. Grow Rd, Stanton, Mi. 48888 where his funeral will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Eugene Kooi officiating. Visitations will also be held at Entrican Bible Church on Thursday, October 24, from 2-4 PM and again from 6-8 PM. Those wishing to contribute in Bob's memory can be made to the Entrican Bible Church or Spectrum Health Hospice.
