Rockney "Rocky" D. Larsen's Obituary
Rockney "Rocky" D. Larsen, age 58, of Lakeview, passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2015. Rocky was born in July 8, 1956 in Mecosta Township, the son of Bernard and Edwardeen (Douglass) Larsen. He was raised in Lakeview and graduated from Lakeview High School in 1974. He worked at Lakeview Elevator for several years and various odd jobs around Lakeview. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, nature, reading history and science fiction. He loved to watch thunderstorms.
He will be missed by three children Matt L. Marek of Grand Rapids, Brandy A. (Dwight) Swarn of Grand Rapids, and Michael H. Marek of Grand Rapids; one sister Rhonda (John) Spivey of Lakeview; one brother Roderick Larsen of Lakeview; Nieces, nephews, and friends.
Rocky was preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Edwardeen Larsen; and two brothers Richard Palmatier, and Roger Larsen.
A celebration of Rocky's life will be held on his birthday, July 8, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Hinton Township Hall with Pastor Roger Cooper officiating. Memorial Contributions in Rocky's memory may be made to the family.
