Rollie Dale Teachworth's Obituary
Edmore-Rollie Dale Teachworth, age 88, of Blanchard, passed away on Thursday April 29, 2021 at McLaren Central Hospital in Mt. Pleasant. He was born on September 28, 1932 in Ithaca, the son of Rollie and Leota (Kirby) Teachworth. He was raised in the Ithaca area where he graduated from Ithaca High School in 1950. He served his county honorably as a Corporal in the United States Army from 1952 - 1954. Rollie was employed at factories including Hitachi as a Finisher Grinder for 20 years before retiring in 1993. After which he became the caretaker at East Branch Sportsmen Club in Newberry, Michigan. Rollie was married to Dianne Tucker on December 17, 1982 in Mt Pleasant. He enjoyed anything outdoors; hunting, fishing, camping, and traveling to the UP.
Rollie is survived by his wife of 38 years, Dianne; his children, Craig (Julie) Teachworth of Lowell, Tracey Tucker of Blanchard, Holly Ball of Mt. Pleasant; also, Camie, Becky, Trina; grandchildren, Christian, Kyle, Peyton, Rebecca; sister, Leota "Jean" Wood of Alma.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Jeff Teachworth and Rick Teachworth; grandson, Bradley Florist; brother, Ore Teachworth, and sisters, Nellie, and Erline.
A visitation will take place on May 2, 2021 from 12-2pm at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore, Michigan. Following the visitation, a graveside service with military honors will take place at 2:30pm at the Pine River Cemetery in Blanchard, Michigan.
