Rollie was born on January 20, 1948, in Lakeview, MI, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack and Betty Lou Uebele (Wager). He was educated through Tempe high school where he graduated before proudly serving his country in the United States Army. Rollie later earned his bachelor’s degree through Central Michigan University, and worked as a Probation Officer for Mecosta County for 30 years before retiring.
Kind, easy going, jovial, and a good listener were all words used to describe Rollie. He was a practical joker and everyone was a victim to his pranks. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, bowling, and he loved to take home movies and pictures of family. Rollie also loved to play cards and taught his grandchildren how to play numerous different games.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Betty Lou; wife of 44years, Luann; son, Stacy (Angie) Uebele; sisters, Melody Vehon, and Sally Martin; grandchildren, Tyler, Evan, and Aubrie Uebele, and many nieces and nephews.
Rollie was preceded in death by his father, Jack and son, Mitchell.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family and will go to a charity of their choice.
