Ronald Arden Ham's Obituary
Big Rapids - With sadness and gladness our husband, father, and grandfather is no longer tired and lost. Ronald Arden Ham died Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Altercare of Big Rapids. We will remember him as a loving father to Eron (Doug) Drake, Leah Ham (Jeff VanCompernolle), Carrie (Cody) Inglis, and Jason (Ilze) Ham; as well as grandfather to Eliana Drake, Taya Drake, Zach VanCompernolle, Kyle VanCompernolle, Reid Inglis, Nolan Inglis, Ty Inglis, Grieta Ham, Teddy Ham; and a lifelong partner to Sara L. Ham. Ron was an avid learner attending several universities and colleges earning multiple degrees in music and humanities. We will remember him as a dog walker, piano player, professor, gardener, reader, Spanish speaker, photographer, genealogist, poet, writer, actor, traveler, opera lover and friend to all animals. Cremation has taken place and the family will gather at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Riley-McKensie Fund or the Animal Rescue Coalition
