Ronald Hamilton's Obituary
Hersey -Ronald "Jack" Hamilton, 71, of Hersey passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2013. He was born in Green Township on January 22, 1942, the son of Roger and Lucile (Pion) Hamilton. Jack was a tool and die maker and had worked at Hanchetts, Benedicts, Evart Products, Big Rapids Products and Michigan Knife. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt, fish and garden. Jack is survived by his companion, Peggy McGuire, mother Lucille, two children, Bryan(Leanne) Hamilton of Reed City, Linda (Jeff) Schultz of Big Rapids, seven grandchildren, Michele (Bill), Shawna (John), Christina (Cody), Erika (Brad), Laci, Kody, Bradley and Chris and six great grandchildren. Also surviving are four sisters, Bonnie Luce, Judy (Dick) Hurst, Barbara Rogers and Marlene (David) Hurst plus several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, also brother-in-law, Harold Luce. A memorial service for Jack will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 12, 2013 at Faith Community Church at 610 Green Street in Big Rapids with Pastor Art Kilpatrick officiating. Jack's family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan. Arrangements are by the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids.
