Ronald George Ulrich's Obituary
Monticello, Indiana - Ronald George Ulrich, 67, passed away from cardiac arrest while downhill skiing at Alta Ski Resort in Utah, enjoying what he loved and was an expert at.
He was born August 11, 1950, the son of Harold and Gladys Ulrich. Ron was born and raised in Stanwood, Michigan, and was a 1968 graduate of Morley Stanwood High School. He resided on Lake Freeman in Monticello, Indiana since 1978, and spent his winters since retirement in St. Petersburg, FL. He was a young entrepreneur who founded Tri-State Cob and Tri-State Sales and Leasing in Delphi, Indiana. Ron was gregarious, ambitious, and experienced life to the fullest. He traveled extensively and loved every adventure he had.
Ron is survived by his daughter Fallon (Dustin) Pegg, her brother Brandon Salazar; five grandchildren, Addison, Alexzander, Skyler, Ronsyn, and Bryson: his siblings, (Jeannie) Ulrich, (Lawrence) Lewis, Jim (Charlene) Ulrich, Jane (Ron) Irwin, Judy (Larry) Beemer, and Diane (Kelly) Rushmore; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter Jennifer, his parents, his brother Richard Ulrich, and sister Sandra Lewis.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids, MI. Visitation will start at 11:00 A.M. and continue until time of service. Burial will be at the Stanwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions in Ron's name may be made to the Prader-Willi Syndrome Foundation in memory of his daughter.
