Rosemary Gibbons' Obituary
Edmore - Rosemary Gibbons, age 73, of Stanton, passed away at her home on Friday, November 30, 2018. Rosemary was born on December 21, 1945 in Alma, the daughter of Damon and Lillian (Gee) Tilden. She was raised in Alma and graduated from Alma High School. Rosemary continued her education at Alma College for Nursing. She was employed at Frigidaire, which later became Electrolux, in Greenville, for almost 20 years. Rosemary married Phillip Gibbons on July 4th at their home in Stanton. Rosemary enjoyed fishing, casino trips, target shooting, bingo, and canoeing.
Rosemary is survived by her children Jannett (Ernie) Wymer of Edmore, Annette (Jim) Palon of Mt. Pleasant, Kevin (Julie) Dunbar of Greenville, Rose (John) Hoard of Crystal, Roberta (Buddy) Reed of Entrican, Mark (Mindy) Reynolds of Stanton; step-children Phillip (Jennipher) Gibbons of McBride, Stanley Gibbons of Trufant, Tracey Gibbons of Edmore, Jody (Angel) Gibbons of Stanton; grandchildren Rebecca, Mary, Olivia, Thomas, Damon, Nickolas, Silviday, Erick, Shawn, Keiren, Jody, Bailey, Mason, Grayson, Tyler, Noah, Parker, Mark, and Ganessa; step-grandchildren Amber, Felicia, Kamron, Caden, and Brittany; siblings Bruce (Gertrude "Gert") Vanzyll of Lowell, EJ (Sandra) Gee of Traverse City, Jannett (Jeff) Ferrier of Wolverine, and Velva Davis (widow of Richard Davis) of Beaverton; and several nieces, and nephews.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband Phillip Gibbons; parents Damon and Lillian Tilden; daughter Sherry Ann Reynolds; siblings Frank Tilden, Damon Tilden, and Sara Eversole.
Funeral services for Rosemary will be on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore, MI. The family will accept friends for visitation on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 4:00 - 8:00 p. m. at the funeral home. The family requests donations in Rosemary's memory, be made to the funeral home. All are invited to a luncheon at McBride Village Hall following interment in McBride Cemetery.
