Rosemary Imhoff's Obituary
Rosemary Imhoff, age 92, died peacefully on September 20, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Edmore, Michigan on June 3, 1931, to Charles Francis and Mary (Weaver) Cummins. She married Lee (Bud) Imhoff on September 2, 1948. Rosemary resided in her home on beautiful Tamarack Lake for 73 years and loved flower gardening and maintaining her yard. She was also an excellent cook, baker and loved music and dancing. Rosemary was a very stylish woman, and never left the house without striving to look her best. She would seldom miss an opportunity to suggest and partake in a bonfire with family and friends. She was a member of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Lakeview. She was fortunate to travel to England, Ireland, Spain, Canada, Dominican Republic and throughout the United States. She was employed by GTE Telephone, Heinz Pickle and Kelsey Memorial Hospital in Lakeview.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bud, her parents, sisters: Clara (Stanford) Curtis, Elizabeth (Judd) Gorsuch, Helen Marie Rasmussen. Brothers: Kenneth (Betty) Cummins, Francis (Betty) Cummins, Eugene (Phyllis) Cummins. In-laws: Carl (May Helen) Imhoff and (Freda). Sisters-in-law: June (Erik) Olsen, Gayla (Dennis) Nance. Brother-in-law: James (Thelma) Imhoff.
She is survived by her daughters: Candace (Gary) Mizga, Teresa (Steve) Bowser, Holli (Pete) Trevino, Heather (Jerry) Rhead, Bridget (Rick) Johnson, Heidi (Todd) Young. Grandchildren: Kammy Ostrander, Sereva (Kasey) Ball, Cory Mizga, Shasta (Morgan) Crabb, Nikolas Gonzalez, Dominic (Jennifer) Trevino, R. Lee Gonzalez, Lee (Trisha) Trevino, Christian (Kristina) Johnson, Ashley Young, Logan Gonzalez, Sonni Marie Trevino, Chase (Lindsey) Young, Pearce Rhead.Great grandchildren: Nicolas (Tara) Ostrander, Alexandr Ball, Nikolay Ball, Candace Ostrander, Oksana Ball, Jordan Vanderlip, Issac Vanderlip, Illiana Gonzalez, Wyatt Ostrander, Gabriella Ostrander, Olivia Trevino, Jackson Ostrander, Hunter Mizga, Hudson Mizga, Michael Young, Holt Johnson, Benjamin Young, Jake Young. Great-great grandchild: Waylon Ostrander. Brother: Don (Janet) Gorsuch. Sister-in-law: Elaine (Duane) Ingraham. Brothers-in-law: Larry (Mary) Imhoff, Charles (Joan) Imhoff, Donald Imhoff, Robert (Jackie) Imhoff. Many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to join in her celebration of life which will be held on Saturday, October 7 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at McKenna's Village Restaurant in Lakeview.
