Rosemary Williams' Obituary
Canadian Lakes Rosemary Williams, 78, of Canadian Lakes, passed away Friday, December 05, 2008, at Spectrum Health Butterworth in Grand Rapids. She was born March 29, 1930, in Detroit, the daughter of Joseph and Rose (Kanikowski) Frederick. For many years, Rosemary worked for the State of Michigan until retiring and moving to Canadian Lakes from Farmington Hills in 1998. While living in Canadian Lakes, Rosemary was a member of the Red Hat Society, the Garden Club, and enjoyed playing in her golf league. She also attended St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Big Rapids, and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #4360 in Stanwood. Rosemary is survived by her daughter, Leslie (Alan) Weirmeir of Novi; a grandson Jonathan Weirmeir; sisters Irene Miller and Dorothy Garavaglia; brother Richard Frederick; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters Margaret McNabb and Eleanor Candler, and her brothers Robert and Harry Frederick. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 9, 2008, at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Big Rapids, with Rev. Laurel Dahill officiating. Her family will greet friends after 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Memorial contributions for the church may be left in the care of the Mohnke Funeral Home, where arrangements are entrusted.
