Big Rapids - Roy Dale Shananaquet, age 49, of Big Rapids passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at his residence after battling a long illness. He loved being with family and friends, and was a member of The Little Traverse Bay Band of Odawa Indians. Roy was preceded in death by his mother, Yvonne Holdman. He is survived by John Curtice (Lisa Miller), Bill Curtice (Amy Barrat), Becky Shananaquet (Bill Kaiser), Chris (Angelia) Shananaquet, and extended family.
