Ruby Belle Marchetti's Obituary
Ruby Belle (Frost) Marchetti, age 92, long-time resident of Edmore, passed away at Rosewood AFC in Ithaca on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born in Vestaburg to M.I. and Bertha (Bennett) Frost on February 22, 1933. Ruby graduated with the Class of 1951 from Vestaburg Schools. After raising her six children she moved to Orlando, Florida, where she was employed as a hostess by Disney Theme Parks for over 30 years before her retirement. Ruby was a member of the St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church in Edmore. She enjoyed attending local jamborees, sewing, tending her roses and perennial flower beds, and was known as an excellent cook and baker. Ruby will be remembered as a loving and dedicated mother, wife and friend.Ruby is survived by her daughter, Terrell (Joe) Fisher of Nicholasville, KY; son, Michael Ware of Ithaca; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandsons; sister, Rosemary Kraft of Stanton; many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Marchetti in 2009; 4 sons, Charles, Kenneth, Brian and John Ware; parents, M.I. and Bertha Frost; and 11 siblings.A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday October 14, 2025. at St. Bernadette - St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Stanton, with Father James VanderLaan officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:30 AM until the time of service.
