Ruth Anne Gemzer's Obituary
Paris - Ruth Anne Gemzer, 73, of Paris passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2014. She was born on September 29, 1941 in Dimondale, Michigan, the daughter of Frank D and Beatrice I (White) Bushre. Ruth graduated from Big Rapids High School in 1959. Following graduation, she married Walter Gemzer who preceded her in death in 1996. She is survived by her three children; Daniel (Dayna) Gemzer of Grand Rapids, Dennis (Merrilee Johnson) Gemzer of Mechanicsburg, Pa, and Tina (Mort) Meier of Paris; six grandchildren, Wendy, Brian (Sammie), Erika and Daniel Gemzer and Trenton (Juliana) and Levi Miller; plus three great grandchildren, Austin, Coraleah, and Luke. Also surviving is one sister, Nancy (Jimmie) Gerst; special companion Theodore Gemzer of Muskegon; plus many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband; brother, Robert D. Bushre; and sister, Donnalee Galer. A memorial gathering and interment will be at 1:00 pm Friday, November 7, 2014 at Park Hill Cemetery on 22 Mile Rd. in Paris, Michigan.
