I have known Don and Ruth Markcum and the Davis family for many many years. Ruth was a beautiful person and a very good friend. She was funny, loving and fun! I remember going on a trip with Don and Ruth in their semi. It was the first time I had ever been in a semi truck. I was so excited...and we had alot of fun. Although I moved away after some years...I thought about Ruth many times. It turned out to be a little too late when I was reconnected to the family through a picture of Christa on Facebook. I immediately asked about Ruth and was told that she was battling Cancer and was in Hospice. My heart was heavy. I told Christa to tell her that I had thought about her so often and that I would pray for them. It was less than 24 hours that I heard she had passed. I couldn't believe it! God works in mysterious ways. I love you Ruth. May you rest in the arms of God forever. My sincere condolences to the family and her friends.
