Sally Jane Raczkowski's Obituary
Lakeview - Sally Jane (Ivanicki) Raczkowski, age 70, of Lakeview, MI, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021, at Spectrum Health United Memorial Hospital in Greenville. Sally was born on December 3, 1950, in Detroit, the daughter of Frank and Sally Ivanicki. Sally married the love of her life of forty years, Richard Stanley Raczkowski, on October 3, 1981. Together, they raised two wonderful children. Sally worked as a Paraprofessional at Lakeview Community Schools for seventeen years until retiring in 2010. She loved children and worked with all ages. She helped as a Teacher's Aid working with special education. Sally will always be remembered for her friendly face, and a listening ear. Her many hobbies included being an amazing cook and baker, birds, family and social gatherings, and the beauty of nature. She had a passion for spoiling her grandchildren. Family was her "everything". Sally was a President and Representative for LESPA (Union for Parapros).
Sally will be missed by her husband, Richard Raczkowski of Lakeview; children, Christina Opper of Howard City, and David (Kari) Raczkowski of Big Rapids; 5 grandchildren, Logan, Hailey, Emerson, Anna, and Caleb.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Sally Ivanicki; son-in-law, Craig Opper; siblings, David Ivanicki, and Marsha Wood.
A private memorial service for the family will be held at a later date.
