Sean Brian Williams' Obituary
Sean Brian Williams, age 44, of Big Rapids, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025. He was born on April 4, 1980, to Donald Williams and Evelyn (Anderson) Williams.
Sean began working at Wolverine WorldWide at the age of 19 and remained there until just last summer, forming many lasting friendships along the way. He was known for his love of the outdoors whether it was hunting, riding his side-by-side on new adventures, or spending time in St. Ignace, one of his favorite places. Sean also had a passion for car shows and was always eager to fire up the grill, cooking for family and friends. His infectious laughter, sharp sense of humor, and outgoing personality made him the life of any gathering. A truly social soul, he never met a stranger, only new friends.
Sean is survived by his loving parents, Donald (Anna) Williams and Evelyn Williams; his sisters, Morgan Bowman and Kasey (Matt) Steiner; his cherished niece and nephews, Ayden, Bayley, Quinn, Taylor, and Parker; and Ashton Reidt, whom he raised from a young age. He also leaves behind countless friends and his beloved dog, Beau. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at the Mohnke Janowicz Funeral Home in Big Rapids. Sean’s family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. that morning.
In honor of Sean’s giving spirit and his love for animals, memorial contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue Coalition (ARC) of Mecosta County.
Sean’s warmth, laughter, and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
