Shannon Marie Lucas' Obituary
Paris - Shannon Marie Lucas, 33, of Paris, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2020, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born July 29, 1986, in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of Michael and Eldora (Vallad) Lucas, and attended Big Rapids Public Schools. Shannon lived in the area most of her life, and loved to do arts and crafts with her children. She was known as the "Clearance Queen" when it came down to shopping, and loved to find a deal.
Shannon was a beautiful soul and an extraordinarily strong person.
Shannon is survived by her 4 children, Davian Vaughn, Tejeanna Redman, Natelya Redman, and Omadayus "Bam-Bam" Redman; her parents; her significant other Bobby Redman and his daughter Maxine Clark; his parents Robert and Nancy Redman; her sister Jessica Osborn; her brother Robert Lucas; her maternal grandmother Bobby Cooper; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her sister Amanda Lucas Taylor preceded her in death on June 23.
A celebration of both Shannon's and Amanda's life will be from 12 - 3 p.m., Saturday, June 27, 2020 at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids. A lunch will follow at Hemlock Park in Big Rapids.
