Obituary
Edmore - Sharon Fern (Thrush) Wellman-Kiste, age 69, of Edmore passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Covenant Health Care in Saginaw, MI. Sharon was born on June 12, 1948 in Alma, MI the daughter of Orlin Dixon and Hazel Irene (Moffett) Thrush. She was raised in Ithaca and graduated from Ithaca High School Class of 1966. She enjoyed cooking, baking, making wedding cakes, catering, playing cards, and game shows. Sharon was a member of the Edmore Church of God.
Sharon will be missed by one son Robert J. Snyder of Edmore; one daughter Michelle K. Snyder (Donald Hardy) of Stanton; four granddaughters, two great-granddaughters; one special girl known as a granddaughter; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Sharon was preceded in death by two husbands Gerald Wellman, and Dean Eugene Kiste; parents Orlin D. and Hazel I. Thrush; one infant son Glenn Richard Snyder; one brother Larry Thrush; three sisters Virginia (Roy) McCormick, Wilma (Jesse) Powell, and Eleanor Crites.
Funeral Services for Sharon will be on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 11:00 a. m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a. m. at the Edmore First Church of God with Pastor Steve Gulick officiating. The family will accept friends on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 5:00 - 8:00 p. m. at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore, MI. A luncheon will immediately follow the funeral at the church. Those wishing to contribute in Sharon's memory are asked to consider contributing to the family - Michelle Snyder.
