Sharon Elaine Yanke's Obituary
Lakeview-Sharon Elaine (Skutt) Yanke, age 76, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Spectrum Health United Hospital. She was born in Lakeview on May 31, 1944 to Ronald and Ola (Card) Skutt. On September 2, 1961 Sharon married Delbert Yanke and they had four daughters; Kimberly, Kamie, Ronda and Roxanne. She was beloved by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Sharon retired from Montcalm County ISD after over 20 years as a paraprofessional for the EI program. She loved camping, crafting and crocheting. During the summer she enjoyed her pool area and her geraniums. You ALWAYS would find her at her grandchildren's sports and choir events.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Delbert; her daughters, Kamie (Michael) Morrow, Ronda (Joe) Nalett, Roxanne (Tim) Hardy; son-in-law, Kory Gould; her sister, Connie (Jerry) Wilson; her 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Ola; and her daughter Kimberly Gould.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Lakeview, with Pastor John Martin officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, October 6 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the chapel.
