Obituary
Edmore - Sheri Lynn Hansen, age 67, of Edmore, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. Sheri was born on August 6, 1950 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Peter Thomas and Marion Francis (Tiffany) Krulek. She was raised in the Grand Rapids, Grant, Remus, and Barryton areas. Sheri attended Chippewa Public Schools and graduated Class of 1968. She married Gerald Eugene Hansen on November 29, 1969 at Rice Lake Baptist Church in Grant. Sheri was a member of the McBride Church of Christ. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing on the computer, crafts, spending time with family, and helping her church.
Sheri will be missed by her husband of 48 years, Gerald Hansen of Edmore; two sons Jeff (Susan) Hansen of Edmore, and Bradley (Christina) Hansen of Edmore; 8 grandchildren Alex, Becky, Aleisha, Samantha, Megan, Miranda, Tommy, and Colin; siblings Frederick (Lovella) Hilden of Barryton, Ronald (Janet) Hilden of Grant, David (Sandy) Hilden of Mattawan, and Terry (Terri) Krulek of Crystal; several nieces, nephews, friends, and church family. Sheri was preceded in death by her parents Peter and Marion Krulek.
The family will accept friends in Sheri's memory at Visitation on March 21, 2018 from 3:00 - 7:00 PM at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore, MI. Those wishing to contribute in Sheri's memory are asked to consider the American Heart Association. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
