Shirley Jean Mascho's Obituary
Shirley Jean (Gilbert) Mascho, 92, of McBride took the Lord and walked through the gates of heaven on March 29, 2021. Shirley was born on April 13, 1928 to Austin and Zelma Gilbert. She married Leroy Graham (Mush) Mascho on May 29, 1948. She grew up in South Riley, Michigan where she attended school until they moved to Edmore, Michigan. She worked at the bag factory in Edmore, and she did many other odd jobs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy (Mush); her grandson, Lance Snyder; her son, Lonny and daughter-in-law, Ellen (Cortright) Mascho; her parents, Austin and Zelma Gilbert; brothers, Keith and Fern Gilbert, Omar Gilbert, and Richard and Norma Jean Gilbert.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry (Mitch) Snyder of Sheridan, son, Larry (Char) Mascho of Spring Hill, Florida, and daughter, Shelly (Mike) Bailey of Stanton; grandchildren, Patrick (Tori), Chasity (Randy), Tabitha (Kirk), Marc (Carolyn), Karisa, Jynae (Brandon), Lindsay (David), and Chelsey (Ben); 10 great grandchildren, Ryelee, Elijah, Lily, Lucas, Scott, Lance, Wyatt, Mitcheal, Carson and Monroe; brother, LeVer "Butch" Gilbert; sister-in-law, Marlene Gilbert.
A memorial service will be at 12:00 PM on Monday, April 5, 2021 at the First Church of God in Edmore, with Pastor Kelly Munger and Pastor Elwyn Mac Donald officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:30 AM until the time of service at the church.
