Steve Jay Drumm's Obituary
Edmore - Steven "Steve" Jay Drumm, age 53, of Vestaburg, passed away on December 21, 2021, at Mid-Michigan Medical Center in Alma. He was born on September 12, 1968, in Alma, the son of Ed and Lana (Hoover) Drumm. Steve was raised in Cedar Lake, MI and attended Cedar Lake Academy, graduating with the Class of 1986. He continued his education at Andrews University, and Montcalm Community College, graduating with an associate degree. Steve and Dawn Gilman were married 32 years ago, on June 25, 1989, at the Cedar Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church. He was employed by American Mitsuba of Michigan for over 26 years. Steve enjoyed bees, hot wheels, rubik's cubes, his pet fish and fishing, camping, NASCAR, kayaking, and computers. He was very passionate about his family, and there was nothing he loved more than spending quality time with his grandbabies. He was a member of the Cedar Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Steve is survived in death by his wife, Dawn Drumm of Vestaburg; his two sons, Nathan (Becca) Drumm of Edmore, and Jason (Miranda) Drumm of Vestaburg; his father, Edward "Ed" (Dee) Drumm of Lake Isabella; his mother, Lana Houghton of Six Lakes; grandchildren, Shiloh, Sawyer, and Sammy; siblings, LaShelle (Geoff) Greene of Wyoming, MI; Kristy Drumm, of Vestaburg; Kris Lahti of Cincinnati, OH; Kathy (Mike) Sias of Chattanooga, TN, and Johnny (Jasmine) Vaden of Edmore; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Steve was preceded in death by his brother, Michael "Mick" Drumm; stepfather, Alan Houghton.
Funeral services for Steve will be held Monday, December 27, 2021, at 1:00 P.M. at the Cedar Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church, with Pastor Jacob Gibbs officiating. The family will accept friends for visitation on Sunday, December 26, 2021, from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore, MI.
