Steven "Hoss" Fred Buskirk's Obituary
Edmore - Steven "Hoss" Fred Buskirk, age 66, of Six Lakes passed away at his home on Friday, December 30, 2022. Hoss was born in Greenville on April 22, 1956, the son of Fred and Connie (Richardson) Buskirk. He was raised in the Six Lakes area where he attended Montabella Community Schools, graduating in 1974. Hoss was a self-employed carpenter for over 40 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool and visiting the Upper Peninsula. Hoss loved spending time with his family and hosting fish fries and bonfires at his home. He especially cherished his grandchildren and the times they spent together. Hoss also loved spending time with his lifelong friends, Albert and Scott.Hoss is survived by his children, Stefanie Buskirk of Crystal, Cody (Stacy) Loomis of Hubbardston, Misty King of Riverdale, Jake King of Cooks; grandchildren, Maxx, Michal, Maddison, Mason, Natallie, James; life partner Laurie Belson; her children, Alicia (Mike) Collins of Stanton, Jeremy (Rachel) Chapman of Edmore, Clyde (Nicole) Chapman of Cedar Lake, Mitch Chapman of Six Lakes; her grandchildren, Donny, Hunter, Dusty, Jlyn, Allison, Clyde, Aspyn, Braden, Braelynn; siblings, Carrie (Randy) Rogers of Edmore, Stewart (Janice) Buskirk of Six lakes, Mari (Larry) Jensen of Stanton, Terri (Doug) Hadder of Six Lakes, Gina (Bob) Heath of Fenwick, Shari (Tod) Beach of Six Lakes; former wife, Kimberly Buskirk; numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Buskirk and Connie Beach.A celebration of life service is scheduled for January 7, 2023, from 4:00-9:00 PM at the Flat River Saloon, 100 E.
