Stormie Raine Mier's Obituary
Edmore- Stormie Raine Mier, age 13, of Vestaburg, Michigan, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at her home. Stormie was born on August 24, 2009, in Big Rapids, Michigan to Joshua Mier and Jennifer Richardson. She was raised in the Tustin, Evart, and Barryton areas before moving to Vestaburg. Stormie attended school at Pine River Elementary and Chippewa Hills before she joined Vestaburg Community Schools where she was currently in seventh grade.Stormie was the sister to six other siblings and had many friends. She enjoyed nature, butterflies, and reading. Stormie binge watched episodes of Riverdale and Spanish soap operas. She played the clarinet, spent hours swinging with friends, and loved her dog, Fluffy.Stormie will be greatly missed by her parents Josh and Jenn; brothers, Gabriel and Wayne; sisters, Jade, Kiona, Alexandra, and Summer all of Vestaburg; grandparents, Tammy (Ken Havlat) Parish of Akron, Ernest Richardson of Virginia, and Elaine Mier of Lake; several aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as her seventh-grade class, teachers, and school friends.Stormie was preceded in death by her grandpa, John Mier.A celebration of Stormie's life will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Vestaburg Community Schools sports complex at noon with Pastors Tim Grant and Jessica Schaub officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 30, 2022, from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore for a visitation. Those wishing to contribute to Stormie's memory are asked to consider the needs of the family.
