Susan Elizabeth Christensen's Obituary
Susan Elizabeth Christensen, age 65, passed away on November 1, 2024, at home. Susan was born on June 10, 1959, in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Wesley and Clesta (Combs) Shaffer. She was raised in the Grand Rapids area where she also attended Central High School. Susan was employed as a GM and cashier for Jorgensen's, Edmore Family Foods, and the Andersen Brothers Farm. In 2015 Todd Christensen took Susan to be his bride. She enjoyed reading, specifically Stephen King, watching TV, and spending time with those she loved. Susan will be missed by husband, Todd of Blanchard; children, Christina (Robert) Champlin of Blanchard, Clifford Nielson of Alma, Steven Nielson of Edmore, Kenneth (Haley) Nielson of Edmore, Ryan (Latasha) Christensen; twenty-one grandchildren; seven great grandchildren with one on the way; sisters, Christene and Clesta; and brother, Wesley. Susan is proceeded in death by her parents - and first husband Clifford Nielson. There are no scheduled services at this time.
