Today (1/10/26) I was looking at the collection of Terry Dupuis B&W nature photos that adorn my office walls. I wondered if there was an online presence of him to view. Had not seen him since the mid 70s. I happened onto this obit from 2024 and the tribute from our mutual college friend Bob Guiette. What's up B? This man had a special presence in the world. I know he is missed.

Many fond memories of rooming together, working in the darkroom on our art, and soaking in whatever the world sent our way. He showed me how to do that. I will take heart in the early photos of Terry that were posted here. The devilish smile that brightened many days for me and I'm sure lots of others.

I knew Terry in the 70s and we had not had contact for many years. A couple years ago, he’d reach out on social media, and we exchanged pleasantries. I circled back a few days ago, and after not finding the messages from before, I googled, and found this. He was a very unique soul. I hope his beloveds have comfort; condolences to his loved ones.

Good friend for 53 years, college roommate, motorcycle buddy, photography collaborator, project co-conspirator and sounding board, Terry was an amazingly talented person. Artistic and creative, he was an incredible master tinkerer and innovator. Always willing to help out, Terry was an inspiration and mentor to me for a West Millbrook construction project in in the late 70’s. An avid nature lover and enthusiastic outdoorsman, he was a proud steward of his beloved Deadwood Gulch refuge. He will be very much missed…

I knew Terry back in the ‘70’s, and again in ‘12 and ‘13 - always such a creative person and loved being outdoors.
