Thelma E. Johnson's Obituary
Thelma Elaine Johnson, 85, longtime resident of Clarkston and Canadian Lakes, died peacefully April 11, 2015 at Green Acres of Mt. Pleasant, where she resided for a year.
A memorial ceremony will take place at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly later this spring.
Thelma enjoyed traveling, was an avid bridge player and had a zest for life. She will be greatly missed for her enduring strength and optimism.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Cindy Hubbard, Richard Johnson, Janet Kennedy, Marcia Kosmac and Anne Gietz; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Thelma was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Elwood; son-in-law, Woody Kosmac and grandson, Darren Gietz.
