Thomas Lewis Jensen's Obituary
Edmore-Thomas Lewis Jensen, age 67, of Edmore, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 10, 2020 in Texas. Tom was born, the son of Earl and Mary Jane (Pickle) Jensen on October 4, 1952 in Edmore. He was raised in the Edmore area, and graduated from Montabella High School in 1971. He continued his education at Montcalm Community College and served in the Army National Guard as a Chief Warrant Officer for more than 20 years. Tom worked in the trucking industry, and was an owner/operator for more than 40 years. He loved his job, working on his old trucks and painting them, and farming. He enjoyed NASCAR, cooking, grilling, and drawing. Tom loved life and spending time with his family and friends, telling stories and making them laugh, especially his grandkids.
Tom is survived by his mother, Mary Jane Jensen; his significant other, Melinda Peterman; his children, Jason (Ashlee) Jensen, Samantha Jensen (Brian Plank), Courtney (Mike) Martin, Jesse (Lauren) Jensen, and Brandon Peterman; his grandchildren, Katelyn, Tucker, Mackenzy, and Jodee Jensen, Hunter Jackson, Cory, and Brooke Sadler, Kenzi, DeLaina, and Amelia Martin, Hoyt "Shooter" Jensen, and Addisen (Nate Sadler), Darby and Esten Peterman; sister, Marvel (Robert) Cutler; brother, Scott Jensen; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Jensen; nephew, Collin Matthew Jensen; and a grandson, Henry Jensen.
A celebration of Tom's life will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore. The family will greet friends from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
